Hi, my name is Matt Coleman and first off I would like to welcome you to the University of Denver! The first few days of college with picking classes, meeting people, finding buildings and doing homework are super hectic and probably the last thing on your mind is Greek life. However, I can say from personal experience that participating in rush week has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in college. Rush week not only presents an opportunity to meet people, experience DU, and do fun things, but it also gives you the opportunity to join an organization that will be with you for the rest of your life. When I came to DU I wasn’t planning on rushing because I had the wrong perception of fraternities, but I was convinced by some friends on my floor that ended up being my fraternity brothers in ZBT today.
While I could tell you all of the factors that led to me accepting my bid to join the brotherhood at ZBT, they are not as important as the reasons that you will discover when you spend time with the members of our fraternity. I invite you to text or call me anytime, and I will be happy to show you around our house and introduce you to our brothers. I can honestly say that joining ZBT has been one of the most rewarding and fulfilling experiences of my life not only because of the activities and benefits that it presents, but for the bond that this brotherhood shares which I believe is the strongest on campus. Many of the best memories and experiences I have enjoyed in my freshman year would not have happened without ZBT; I hope that you can also find this experience in ZBT or in Greek life in general.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and if you have any questions about life at DU or questions about fraternities please do not hesitate to call me at 303-518-0593
